We had such a beautiful Easter this year! It was the first holiday that we had family to our new house. My mom, dad, brother, and sister all came Saturday afternoon and stayed through Sunday.
The weekend started out with egg dying. Henry thought it was awesome to just dip all the eggs in ever color leading to eggs that were less than appealing.
On Easter morning, Henry woke up to find Peeps and eggs filled with jellybeans scattered around the living room. He was really confused. Picked up a couple Peeps, bit their heads off and ignored his baskets, the eggs and the flashing camera.
Henry spent the rest of the day moving from sugar high to sugar crash. He was really good at Mass, but then refused to nap. He ran around wild all afternoon, but couldn't keep his eyes open at dinner. Then went to bed early, but ran around his crib wild for the longest time. And, he was the only one that refused to smile in any pictures.
It also happened to be my dad's birthday, so on top of the Easter goodies, we had birthday cake. We are all totally sugared out. But, it was a seriously wonderful holiday!
