Montessori Friendly Small Shop Finds 2024

It feels like an impossible task to feature all the best Montessori friendly small shops that exist in the world, because it really is. There are so many amazing shops that showcase truly unique and fun Montessori friendly materials for kids at home. In this small shop gift guide, I'm sharing some of my favorite finds from 2024, from both shops I've loved for years, and some places that are new to me. 

My hope is that you'll find a little something for everyone on this list as you are shopping this holiday season. If there is a small shop out there that I need to know about, put it in the comments, I love discovering new places and materials!

Montessori friendly small shop finds for the home: 

Display Shelf: Only shipping to EU right now, but I bet U.S. will get eventually. I love the spot for a pot, I can also envision filling with art supplies

Play Mat: finally beautiful play mats that kids and adults can enjoy

Wall Decals: these come in so many incredible designs and are great for adding beauty and fun to a space

Tomte Cake: a cute twist on holiday gingerbread houses

Toverlux Window Frame: just gorgeous rotating art pieces that shine in natural light

State Bucket List Cards: These look so fun, pick a card for your local area and find some adventures all year round 

For the littlest little humans, here are some small shop gift ideas: 

Felted Wool Rings: what a fun, natural texture for babies

Rainbow Mobile: beautiful and fun choice that babies will love but will look beautiful in a play space for years

Crochet Mushroom Rattle: What a fun texture and it is just beyond adorable

Double Decker Bus Push Toy: Realistic while still being safe for babies that like to mouth!  

Silicone Rings: A great size, easy to clean, and simple baby toy, a twist on a classic ring made of colorful silicone

Wooden Rattle: how beautiful! These look perfect for little hands

Seasonal Sorting: This color sorting set is so simple and cute for the holiday season! 

Simple Puzzle: It can be hard to find realistic puzzles that are simple enough for young toddlers. I love that this is a simple option but something other than shapes! 

Ice Cream Scoop Puzzle: I love that this could be used with or without matching cards depending on a child's age

Rainbow Screw Toy: Such a cute little combination of stacking and screwing work for toddlers 

Hammering Shape Sorter: Shapes and some maximum effort at a reasonable price point!

Wooden Scoop: A perfect size and shape for toddlers and all sorts of practical work

There are so many great preschool options, but here are some favorites: 

ChompShop: Cutting cardboard with safety and ease, this looks so incredibly cool for preschool and elementary aged kids

Bauspiel Cylinders: I love the unique shape of the gem blocks, I haven't seen a lot of round options before

Numbered Sorting Trays: great for sorting, stacking, and recognizing that numbers get larger

Rainbow Stones Loose Parts: We recently bought some and they have been a huge hit in our play dough

Tiny House: Any Myers Natural toys are a great addition to your home's play, I love how cute these tiny houses are (and they are sometimes available in color!)

Welcome Home Puzzle: Perfect for a young preschool, I love the detail and beauty in this reversible puzzle 

Even for elementary, second plane of development, kids there are tons of small shop options:

Camp Snap: love that this is digital with a vintage film feel, no screens but still tons of great pictures

Tic-Tac-Toe Wall: how fun is this felt wall game, and it comes in a variety of colors

Cross Stitch Bookmark: I love a practical, and cute, project! 

Seasonal Slime: big kids like sensory play too and these look so beautiful and fun

Star Weaver: Beautiful handwork, and so much fun for making braided cords. Could also work for older preschooler 

DIY Screen Printing: What a unique crafting kit, I know my bigs would love something like this!
