Montessori Friendly Easter Baskets 2025

I love putting together a simple, fun Easter basket each Spring for my children. At Easter we are generally more focused on the religious aspects of the holiday, but we still like to play pretend with the Easter bunny, open some small gifts, and celebrate together. I hope these ideas inspire you but also give you permission to keep your Easter baskets simple but fun. Trying to find a few quality items that will bring joy can be a challenge, and I'm definitely running behind this year! 

These choices are individual to my children so use them as inspiration. Think about things that will be appropriate for your children and meet both their developmental needs and interests. 

This year Penelope is 3-years-old at Easter. She loves to create art, pretend play, and matching/sorting work. This year her Easter basket will include: 

This year Ted is 5-years-old at Easter. He loves puzzles, Star Wars, and baseball. This year his Easter basket will include: 

Gus is 8-years-old at Easter this year. He continues to love to build things, tinker, and play games. This year his Easter Basket will include: 

Nora is 10-years-old for Easter this year. She loves being creative, learning new hairstyles, and pretend play. Her Easter basket this year will include: 

As a reminder, I don't share gift lists for my children older than age 12, so my oldest child isn't included on this list (but will of course be included in real life!) 

In addition to these choices, I will throw in some candy treats, bubbles, chalk, or other disposable spring/summer essentials.
