Montessori at 3-Years-Old

3-years-old is a turning point for many children. In Montessori, it is the time when children shift from unconsciously absorbing their environment to consciously absorbing information from their environment. As conscious beings, they are often ready to begin their journey in a classroom and into some academic learning. Here is what Montessori at 3-years-old can look like!
"Thus it happens that at the age of three, life seems to begin again; for now consciousness shines forth in all its fullness and glory." Maria Montessori

Ideas and inspiration for Montessori at 3-years-old.

Homeschooling and Academics

These posts focus on academic learning appropriate for homeschooling at 3. These ideas are Montessori inspired and were written when Henry was around 3. With a deeper understanding of Montessori, I don't know that I would have done everything the exact same as I did then, but these posts can provide some inspiration if you are homeschooling or want to supplement learning at home.
